Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC 3rd XV
The club’s 3rd XV currently play in Division 10 of the Metro League. The squad consists of beginners, veterans (old lads!) and players returning to the sport after an extended absence. This is a super team to join for those who are new to the club and seeking to improve their rugby skills.
The strong social aspect of the team provides a relaxed environment to learn and improve the basic skills of rugby.
Training & Matches
Games are generally played on Friday nights or Saturday afternoons against teams in the greater Dublin area. Home games are played at Heavey Technology Park, Rathfarnham.
From 16 August 2022, training will take place at Heavey Technology Park (location here) on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7.30pm. For more information about our grounds, click here.
If you are looking to start or restart playing rugby the third team offers an excellent place to learn the basics or regain your stride. Come down to training and meet the lads – you won’t be disappointed! If you are interested in joining the thirds please email us for further information.
