Tell us about your background

Kerryman living in Dublin since I came home from Australia in 2007 and joined the club

What made you want to join Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC?

My brother Daniel who was part of the club before he went travelling and when we moved to Dublin he brought me along to the club.

Who is your favourite teammate?

I’m going to go with past players not to inflate egos in current squads…a rampaging Mossy Ryan or Al Fortune were sights to behold.

What’s the best thing about Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC?

Comradery, on and off the pitch as team mates or clubmates there is a genuine community there that is very unique to this rugby club and it is great to see that spread into the minis for players and coaches alike.

Who will you be supporting at this year’s men’s RWC? Who do you think will win?

Ireland and I think the biggest challenges will be South Africa and France.

Any advice for people looking to get into rugby?

Stop looking and do it, just get up and try it and you’ll be hooked…it’s a unique sport that gels people together quickly and all sizes and experience are very welcome in SRRFC
